Ohio Department of Education Goals:
1. Increase High School Graduation rates by .5% per year. Our rate was 100% in 2010
2. Reduce graduation rate gaps by 50%
3. Reduce Performance gaps by 50%
4. Reduce the gap between Ohio and the best performing states in the nation by 50%, Ohio is presently ranked 5th
5. More than double the increase in college enrollment for 18 and 19 year olds.
Ottoville Local Goals:
1. Implement new standards over next 4 years.
2. Create short-cycle and formative assessment tools to evaluate student learning.
3. Use data to improve instruction which will also improve OAA and Value Added.
4. Develop procedures for recruitment and training of new teachers and principals.
5. Develop an Instructional Improvement system(IIS)
6. Develop Residency program for incoming teachers.
