Big Green Go Getters After School Program 2010-2011 Minimize

 The After School Program will begin on October 19th, 2010.  The program will run on Tuesday and Thursday after school until 4:30pm.

Computer Enrichment Minimize

 

Week 1 Oct. 18th
 
Tux Paint is a free, drawing program for children ages 3 to 12. It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program.

Crayola's website is a free site where students can have the freedom to create drawings, greeting cards, award certificates and more!  Students can print their creations and then print them off to color them in!

Week 2 Oct. 25th

ABCya is a free online program where students can practice their vocabulary and math skills.

Week 3 Nov. 1st

Education City is a free online program where students can learn and practice new reading, spelling, comprehension, math, and science skills through various interactive exercises that matches the curriculum in the classroom.

Week 4 Nov. 8th

Using the site Spelling City, students can learn and practice new spelling words and use them in comprehension exercises.

Week 5 Nov. 15th

This week 4th & 5th graders will use a free graphing website to graph their favorite Thanksgiving foods!

1st graders will use this site to reflect on a Thanksgiving story read to them during the After School Program.
